Real Life Appearance: Dacre is nearly identical to his twin brother, Briar. The only thing that separates them physically, in ways of things they cannot change about themselves, is their eyes; while they are both heterochromic, with a brown eye and a blue eye, Dacre’s right eye is blue and his left eye is brown, while Briar’s are the opposite. They both have the same colored hair, of a medium brown shade, but Dacre is quite meticulous when it comes to his grooming. His hair is kept short on the sides and back but longer on the top. Whenever he’s in a rush and doesn’t have time to style his hair, Dacre ends up wearing a beanie or snapback. Like his brother, Dacre’s skin is a pale, milky white, and though it burns easily, it is otherwise clear of blemishes. He and his twin are of average height, standing at 5’11” and weighing around 145lbs, making them pretty slim. Dacre has always been interested in body modifications, i.e. tattoos and piercings, but due to his parents being pretty strict he hasn’t been able to fulfil his dream of doing something that could help tell him apart from his twin brother.

Dream Appearance (Morpheus): While Dacre kept most of his actual physical appearance, i.e. his eyes, height, weight and hair color/style, he did modify certain physical attributes. First off, in Dacre’s dreams he has stretched ears, at about an inch and quite a few tattoos scattered all over his body. When it comes to his dressing style, Dacre goes pretty laidback, usually having graphic tees, ripped jeans, boots and a parka which somewhat hides the fact that he has a lion’s mane as well as having somewhat sharp teeth.

Personality: Dacre is the type of kid that’s guided by his principles rather than by logic, excitement or practicality. He usually looks at honor, beauty, morality and virtue when it comes to moving forward and he’s led by the purity of his intent and not by rewards or punishments. Dacre has an unshakeable belief that all people are inherently good, perhaps simply misunderstood, which lends itself to an incredibly resilient attitude in the face of hardship. He also possesses a live-and-let-live attitude which comes naturally to him, and he dislikes being constrained by rules. Decre tends to give the benefit of the doubt too, and so long as his principles and ideas are not being challenged, he’ll support others' right to do what they think is right.

Dacre also often takes his idealism too far, setting himself up for disappointment as, again and again, evil things happen in the world. This is true on a personal level too, as he may not just idealize those close to him, but idolize them, forgetting that no one is perfect. He also often takes challenges and criticisms personally, rather than as inspiration to reassess their positions. Avoiding conflict as much as possible, Dacre will put a great deal of time and energy into trying to align his principles and the criticisms into a middle ground that satisfies everybody. Lastly, despite him being quite social, Dacre is private, reserved and self-conscious. This makes him quite difficult to really get to know, and his needs for these qualities contribute to the guilt he often feels for not giving more of himself to those he cares about.

History: Dacre is the second born twin to Maia and Gunther Althaus, Briar being born just five minutes earlier. Unfortunately, Gunter wasn’t the charming man that he had seemed to be and three years after the twins were born he abandoned his family, not even telling his wife why he decided to leave them. Maia raised the children on her own, with the help of her mother and father. For the most part Dacre and Briar lived a manageable life, not really anything that they needed but not being able to have any extra things like toys they might’ve wanted or anything of the sort.

By the time that the twins reached middle school Maia tried to date, which was pretty hard not only because of the fact that she already had kids but adding the fact that Briar wasn’t that eager to have some stranger enter their lives surely made it worse. Dacre was always hopeful that maybe they could have a nice man to be their stepfather and hopefully someone who would help them in their economic situation but Briar, being the complete opposite of Dacre, just saw things as they were. Despite his best attempts, Maia managed to meet a decent man that didn’t mind Briar’s attitude, stating that it was normal for him to feel that way and that he’d turn around eventually.

About a year passed and Maia married Dean, the man she had started dating a year ago. Briar, while quite displeased with the outcome of the situation, was pretty happy that his mother was finally happy. A few years after Maia’s wedding the twins graduated high school and while Dacre managed to get into a community college, Briar wasn’t so fortunate and had to get a job to help with the expenses now that Dacre was in CC. Briar wasn’t so happy with this, especially since Dead was the one that constantly reminded the young man that he should get a job to help out. Dacre tried his best to keep Briar from getting into unnecessary fights with Dean but this only lasted for about a year and a half.

Dean and Briar got into their biggest heated discussion and out of frustration Briar ended up taking his mom’s car just to get away from the house and Dacre, not trusting his twin whenever he got like this, decided to tag along just to make sure he’d be ok. Unfortunately for them, while Briar was more focused on ranting about how much he disliked Dean, Briar had driven on the wrong side of the road and crashed onto an oncoming car. The two were rushed into the hospital in critical condition but just ten minutes after Briar was pronounced dead and Dacre ended up in a coma, to which doctors said he might not be able to wake up from.

It’s now been about a year since Briar’s death and Dacre being in a coma and there has been no change in his state but his mother did find out that there was alcohol in Briar’s system when the crash happened.

Nickname: Tiyu (Short for Tian Yun ‘Cloudy Day’)

Real Life Appearance: Of Chinese descent Yun takes on many of the typical traits, however at birth it was discovered he had a deficiency of melanin in several places. Most notably his irises and hair, thus giving him the pale blue to grey irises and a singular streak of white hair amidst his jet black hair he is most known for. He also has more pale splotches scattered around his body caused by this deficiency. His hair is shaved on all sides except the top which naturally spikes up, the white streak of hair is on the right side and droops down instead of spiking up. Yun needs glasses to see and otherwise wears circular glasses. He dawns a singular scar on the right side of his face that reaches just above his eyebrow to right after his lower eye.
*It is common for him to have random bruising or cuts every other day due to his occupation

Yun is about 5’6 height and slim muscular at 64 kg. Yun’s body is decorated with tattoos and a few piercings that list as such:

1. His right arm is covered in eyes and blacked out around them.
2. His left arm spans the mythology (lettering) of Yaoguai (Chinese Demons)
3. His back has the skeletal anatomy of his spine and ribs.
4. He has a full array of flowers that begin at his lower left hip and moves up the left side of his body to across his neck.
5. He has three helix piercings in his right ear.

Dream Appearance (Morpheus): Yun’s physical appearance within Morpheus retains all of his tattoos except he dawns an unreleased version of his father’s clothes including an extra-long sleeved shirt that covers his hands to above his knees that reads on the back “Carefree” inscribed on a cloud. He dawns black cropped pants (right above ankle) and regular slip on black shoes. However the scar on his face disappears and his hair is long enough on the top to tie back (which he does). The biggest difference is that he has a black cat’s tail and his pupils are slits.

Morpheus Ability: Spatial Existence

Personality: Yun lives his life day by day. He does not put anyone above himself nor below him, but he believes he must do what he must do to stay alive. He does not believe in karma or hope. He simply believes that what happens will happen, and at the end of the day whatever did happen is how it has to be. Yun will act if he feels threatened as he does not feel the fear of death. Although his personality is engulfed in negativity and hatred, Yun truly just wishes for a blissful life. Often causing a disruption of his personality causing his emotions and actions to not make sense. He often acts absent mindedly, staring at the clouds or noticing the beauty in most things. He acts quite happy, for someone so deep rooted in negativity.

Yun dreams of happiness and loves flowers. He is addicted to a Chinese street drug known as “Death”.

History: Born to a nameless mother, as his father and elder sister refused to carry on her name, and a hard working father Xinyi Shi, Yun was born to a rather lavish life. His father, a CEO of a high-end clothing company, created many designs for clothing sets worn all across the Earth by the logo “Happy”. His mother, whom shall remain nameless, died giving birth to Yun. As time went on, Shi started to plunge into depression over the loss of his wife started creating many more disturbing designs. At the age of 6 Yun’s father was fired from his company. As time went on he became able to deal with his loss, and found a new wife. After giving birth to the third child of the family, the newly wed wife divorced Shi and left with all of the left over money save some living expense. Having lost two wives, facing unemployment and the responsibility of three children Shi became suicidal and locked himself in his designing room. After a few days of not leaving the room, it was found out that he ODed on “Death”.

During this time Yun had just entered school at the age of 12, his sister having just finished Primary School found a job to support them. As time went on and bullying increased towards Yun for his living situation Yun started acting out. Started at measly class disruptions to major fights at the end of his education. At the age of 16, his older sister being 22 having found a better higher paying job she abandoned Yun and his younger sister only willing to send checks every month to pay basic housing fees in the ghetto. Needless to say, Yun turned to what he knew best, fighting. He started of beating people up for pay but soon found out he was way in over his head as he was hired to take on a gang, the Demons. After he was beaten within a few inches of death he was offered to work under the leader for pay. Starting as just a bodyguard for the drug runners Yun didn’t do much. It wasn’t till he took his first life that his innocence broke, as a drug deal gone wrong ended with his best friend and the runner was shot down in front of him. In a blind rage Yun killed all 4 of the purchasers. As word spread, the gang leader found out and tried to have him put down, but Yun in turn ended up killing him thus making him the new leader. At the age of 17 Yun became known as the most fearsome gang leader in Shanghai, although to him he only felt as he did what he had to do to put his sister through school. But little to his knowledge he had isolated her beyond. Over the next year Yun left the gang and took care of his little sister which led to pure bliss for them both, however this was short lived as his younger sister was killed in a drive by on their house. At her funeral he discarded his previous name and began using Tian Yun instead. Unable to cope with this loss, Yun continued to believe that his sister was still alive and would act as such. Inevitably leading him to turn to “Death” to cope with it. As time went on his dose got higher and he became addicted, ultimately leading to an overdose that puts him into the hospital…
