New York, New York

The bustling city of New York hosts many sort of Ghouls, although the local Anti-Ghoul branch would say otherwise. On the surface only a few incidents occur involving Ghouls, the majority of crimes within the city are still considered 'human' crimes. However, below the surface New York houses many of the most notorious crime houses and business. Two of the most powerful within the city being the Spindlere Family and the Oni Family. The General Ghoul:Human Ratio is 1:10, so feeding, although dangerous as the AGO is very strong, is plentiful.

It was like any other day for Eun, he woke up, went to his agency, worked, and sent off after his payment. New York was as busy as ever and cramped all around.

However, instead of immediately going to the shopping district Eun felt like taking a stroll through Central Park, he simply just felt the need for fresh air. Which was a little hard considering the agency sent bodyguards with him. Not as if he didn't stand out just by himself, now he looked like the son of a president.

Maikel had managed to shake off some of his associates in order to take a breather. He sometimes felt too suffocated working for the Spindlere Family but he wouldn't change it for the world. He had quite the comfortable life with them, especially since they paid for the nice apartment he currently lives in. In the attempts to literally run from his responsibilities, Maikel found himself in Central Park as he attempted to get lost in the crowd. Of course, as fate would have it, while he was distracted looking behind him to make sure he wasn't being followed, he bumped into someone and fell sitting down with a dull thud. The person in question, a bulky tall man who was clearly a bodyguard, stared him down with a scowl.

"Woah, sorry big guy," Maikel said with a grin as he stood up and brushed the dirt off his jeans. "Didn't see you there, which seems pretty impossible seeing how big you are... Again, I'm..." He trailed off mid sentence as he saw someone familiar standing behind the man he had been apologizing to. "No way, you're that singer and model. What was your name..."

"Eun-Jeong" Eun said as he pushed past his guard and offered his hand with a smile, "I am so sorry for my guards" Eun said as he glared at one of the guards "general disrespect in not saying Sorry and offering a hand."

The guard shuffled in spot and cleared his throat, "Uh yes I am sorry sir, I do apologize" he said bowing.

Maikel took Eun's hand and gave him a bright smile. The young celebrity's bodyguards reminded him of his own underlings, "Really, it's no worry. I was the one that wasn't paying attention to where I was going," He paused and chuckled at the realization that he hadn't introduced himself yet. "I'm Maikel, by the way. No one famous just... A pretty distracted young man that's way in over his head."

Eun let out a light laugh "Aren't we all just a little too over our heads. Well, nice to meet you Maikel, hey you know what," Eun said with a brief pause as he felt around his body pulling out a ticket "I don't know if you are a fan or not but it would be cool to see you at my concert tonight, who knows maybe we can change that 'not famous' part. Just think of it as me repaying you for this mans ignorance of respect."

Maikel was speechless once Eun offered him a ticket for his concert on the same night. He took it and tried think on what to say to him, other than thank you of course, "Aren't these like, $70 for the seats way in the back tho?" He asked in disbelief and immediately shook his head. "I mean, thanks, really this is just... Wow, honestly never expected something like this to happen today but sure. I guess I can take the night off and enjoy some free time."

Eun left out a little laugh, "I don't choose the prices so I wouldn't know. But since it's a special occasion, my anniversary of debuting, I figure I might as well see one face I recognize. If you have any friends that want to come just show them the back" he said flipping over the ticket showing a "+???".

"Sorry if it's a little weird since we just met and everything, but I was raised to be respectful and polite and it seems my guards weren't so I guess it is a bit selfish to want to repay you for his misdeed," he said as he scratched the back of his head and smiled.

"This is, wow, really generous," Maikel said with a slight laugh. If he was another type of ghoul he would've mentioned this to the don but how often would he be able to go to a concert for free? This time, at least, he'd keep it to himself, "You don't really see anything of this level here in New York..." He paused and scratched the back of his head, giving Eun a smile. "I'll go to your concert just to cheer your on. Sadly I'll be there alone, don't really have any friends that are free tonight on such short notice."

"Well as I didn't start in America we expect many Japanese and Koreans to be visiting the concert as well," Eun laughed a bit nervously "I even still get stage fright at these things so thank you for cheering me on." He said bowing his head and then raising it, "well for now it seems I must go prepare, I do hope to see you again." Eun said reaching his hand out again.

Maikel couldn't help but let a genuine smile grow on his lips. The prospect of so many foreign people, unaware people, made him look forward to the night even more. He then proceeded to shake Eun's hand, keeping the smile since there were people around them taking pictures, and bowed his head slightly as well. "Wouldn't miss it for the world, Eun."

Eun turned and was soon enough covered around by the bodyguards, his plastered smile leaving his face as no one could see him anymore. Having been escorted to his car Eun sat down in his seat next to his agent who promptly told the driver to leave.

"Mr. Reson I want a tight security tonight, I rather not have any one treading on my territory and possible to-be-money."

"Yes sir," the man replied "I have also prepared a feast for you before your concert, a mixture of Ghoul and Human, our cooks proclaim it to be the best yet."

A smile ran across Eun's face, however it lay crooked as fiendish as could get.

Sometime passed and the concert grew within minutes...

Maikel found himself in unfamiliar territory and for the first time felt more out-of-place than even before. Eun hadn't lied, there were a lot of foreigners at his concert here but of course this also meant that he'd have some fresh and exotic food to try out. But he had to hold himself off for now since the place was packed and he did want to enjoy a few hours of normalcy before returning to his regular life and job. As he was about to pass the entrance, they checked his ticket and told him to go through the side. Apparently he'd be able to be backstage for a while before the concert started, something he hadn't expected to happen at all. He bit his lower lip as he passed by so many people.

"Really didn't expect anything like this," Maikel said to himself as he stopped in front of the craft service table. The food didn't look appetizing to him, since it all tasted rancid for him, but he did however grab a bottle of water. "Makes you wonder how life would've been if you had an opportunity like this, huh."

"Want to find out?" Eun said as he poked Maikel in the back.

Normally Maikel would've swiftly turned around and grabbed whoever had sneaked up to him by the neck but seeing as he was in a concert and backstage, he had to relax a bit more than he normally would. He did manage to relax once he recognize the voice as that of Eun, "You really shouldn't creep up behind people," He said with a chuckle before acknowledging his question. "What do you mean? I..." He paused and gave it some thought. Would it really be that bad to take advantage of the situation? It's not like he'd be betraying or leaving his 'family' just to live a dream that everyone has when they're little kid.

"Ah what would you do," Eun said jokingly "punch lil ol' me for poking you in the back" he joked as he turned around to cover his mouth as he lightheartedly laughed before promptly turning around.

"I mean, this lavish life, it does not come easy nor painless. But it comes with opportunities and anything you might ever want," he said with a serious face then let out a little laugh, "just joking. Sadly our staff is full. Although I do have the position open for a friend..." Eun said with a smile.

"Believe me, even if I wanted to have this life, I couldn't just leave my life behind and my job... Well, I really quite enjoy it," He said softly but smiled at Eun's offer to be friends. He never actually had any real friends in his life and having the added bonus of maybe being invited to more concerts, where he'd be able to grab some people for a steady supply of food, well why would he pass that up? "A friend, huh, never thought you'd be in need of those but, you know, I'd be glad to be your friend. That is, if you're in need of one."

"Sadly, good friends are quite hard to come by," Eun said as his mind traced back through all the similar instances and all said 'friends' being cooked for dinner, "so I always gladly take on someone who is this friendly."

"Ahh loyalty," Eun replied "I respect that in someone. A very good quality to have."

"Then consider me your friend, Eun," Maikel said with a genuine smile, this would be one friendship he'd enjoy having. "And as your friend I should ask, should you be preparing for the concert? It is your anniversary concert after all, gotta get all hyped up to give them the performance of their lifetime."

"What do you think preparing entails exactly?" Eun replied questionably, "want to show me?"

"I didn't mean to offend you," Maikel said quickly. "I just thought you'd be warming up your voice, getting make-up and wardrobe done, that sort of thing."

Eun let out a quick laugh, "Don't be so quick to think you offended me, remember I do get criticism constantly. But I am appalled you think I need makeup that is just plain rude" he said with a smile "but yes I must go. I look forward to seeing you in the crowd. I'll send a guard with you to make sure you get to the area fine. It's rather hard to navigate here."

Eun motioned towards a guard and promptly bowed to his friend and left.

Maikel didn't even have a chance to say good luck to Eun he figured being in the crowd would make up for it. There was, however, the whole guard thing, "Will you be with me the whole concert?" He asked as he started to walk towards a small exit that would lead them to the floor seating area. If the guard was to stay with him the whole concert, then his plans for being able to grab a bite to eat before returning would be ruined.

"No I will return to backstage after we get you to the crowd." The guard said as he neither batted an eye nor lost sight of infront of him as he guided Maikel to his spot and promptly left.

"Of course," Maikel said once the guard left. It seemed that no one would let him have a word in before leaving abruptly. "Well, let's hope that Eun can see me from here."
